Jerry Moll moves to PKC

Raleigh, NC - I received a phone call this morning from Jerry Moll telling me that he has accepted the job of Director of Field Operations for PKC. I know what a decision like this entails because as they say, I've been there, done that.
The AKC Coonhound Events Management Team wishes to extend our best wishes to Jerry, Brenda, Nick, Erin and Bethany as they embark on a new adventure. We certainly wish them the very best.
With change comes the opportunity for AKC to take a new direction, one that I've been contemplating for a long time. While we will certainly miss Jerry and his many contributions to our programs we thank him for the opportunity to look at the direction we are traveling and perhaps implement some of the things we've overlooked in our day to day activities up to now.
We will be announcing new AKC programs in the November issue of American Cooner that will hopefully move us closer to our original goal of providing fun-filled events for the average coon hunter that are devoid of the pressures many hunters feel in today's highly-charged competition environments. We are thinking especially of the ladies, the veterans, the pleasure coon hunters and their clubs as well as the youth as we go about our plans for 2011 and beyond.
AKC is the world's largest registry with the staying power in the market place to carry this program on for generations to come. We invite you to be a part of the foundation we are laying with you, the American coon hunter as the cornerstone. We are always open to your suggestions as we move steadily ahead while never forgetting from where we came.
Again, we sincerely wish Jerry and Brenda and their great kids a wonderful, rewarding future with PKC. We'll miss you guys! - Steve Fielder
